This week we made our last trip to Babies R' Us to get the last few "essentials", though I'm sure there will be a few more trips for the things we will inevitably need. However, I think I will be sending Kevin on those trips, because I still can't stand the sight of that place!
I went to the Dr. today, Kevin had a meeting at work, so Kannan was the 3rd party in the room today. We just chatted about any questions I had about the surgery, and I got all of the paperwork for the hospital. Now all we have to do is wait for Tuesday to get here.
I'm really excited that we get to meet our baby, but I am so nervous about the surgery, and just becoming a mom. I know that there is nothing to be worried about, it's just the fact that all the dreaming about it is going to become "real" next week, and I just hope that I'm as prepared as I can be.
This week I decided that I need to finish a blanket that I had started making about a year or two ago... because otherwise it will never get done. So I guess I converted it into a baby play blanket... I just finished it this morning.

"Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments. "
