First Tooth!

Regan woke up this morning sporting her first tooth!

Her left lower incisor made a peaceful appearance sometime in the middle of the night.  You would have never known that she was teething at all, with the exception of the fact that her gums turned white earlier in the week.

I will try to get a picture soon!  I can't wait for toothy smiles!

10 Months Old!

Double Digits!  Regan Jean is 10 months old today!

64 Days Until Regan's Birthday!

This is what "the bump" website told me this morning when I signed on...64 days!  Where has this time gone?  What happened to my little baby girl?

I have to say, even though she doesn't want to crawl, and she still has no teeth; what this girl lacks in physical accomplishments she makes up for in smarts.  How much she comprehends astounds me everyday.

Last night she was playing with her little "sillytown" toy, and pulling little pop-up guys of of the bin.  I said, "take one out", and she did!  Then I told her, "toss him back in", and she did that too, and proceeded to clap for herself.  This morning she pulled her quilt over some of her toys so they were covered by it.  I asked her "where is your spoon?".  She pulled the blanket up and looked until she found the spoon, them proudly displayed it for me (she did this with a few objects).

Update - Drs Appointment

These past few weeks Regan has been learning lots of new "tricks", and she loves to show them off.  She knows how to clap her hands, and will clap when you clap, when you say "Clap" or "Yay!".  She even clapped when she saw someone on TV clapping!

She also loves to wave "hi".  While at the Doctors office today she waived to call the kids in the waiting room, the nurse, the Doctor, me, Grandma...everyone.  To make things even more impressive; she has a different wave when she wants to wave "bye-bye".  The "hi" wave is mostly a twist of the wrist with her palm facing out.  "Bye-bye" is the whole arm waving back and forth.  It's too cute.

She also likes to put her arms "up" and "down", or will lift an object over her head for "up".  She also raises her arms when we yell "touchdown!".

Now when one of her new toys starts playing music, she will bounce with the beat.  If you say "dance baby, dance", she starts bouncing and "dancing".  The kid's got rhythm!

Today we went to the Doctors for her 9 month appointment.  Here are her latest stats:

Weight: 17# 11oz - 24%

Height: 28.25" - 68%

Head Circ: 17" - 22%

So even though we pick on her for being chubby, she is actually tall and thin!  The Doctor says she's all cheeks!  Besides that everything checked out well, and we don't have to go back until her birthday!  I can't believe it's less than three months away!
